2018 CARBON, Red Wine Blend of Petite Sirah, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot and the newest release of The Racing Series wines. Dark, strong, and full bodied yet approachable, Carbon comes charging off the line with opaque black color in the glass. Aromas of black cherries, licorice, and deeply toasted oak seamlessly transition to flavors of ripe plum and crushed blackberries, finishing with sculpted tannins and violet accents.
The right blend of teamwork, preparation, and the ability to adapt has led to our team success. The same holds true for how we crafted The 24. The blend features fresh, fruity Grenache, mixed with an almost equal portion of dark, spicy Mourvedre. Syrah holds the backbone of smooth tannin and velvety mouthfeel. A dash of Malbec and Petite Sirah make the whole thing burst with intensity!
The 2018 Redline jumps out of the glass with ripe blackberries, black cherry, licorice, and a hint of toasty oak. A broad mouthfeel meets ultra plush texture on the palate, delivering chocolate covered blueberries and blackberry pie with wafts of hardwood charcoal grill. Silky tannins frame the incredibly smooth finish.
The 2019 pours a deeply saturated violet in the glass. Expressive aromas of dark cherries, anise, and toasted baking spices take the lead. On the palate, velvety tannins and cocoa nibs are balanced with savory cast iron details into a very long finish.
Dark, inky black in color, this Petite expresses savory aromas of graphite and iron mixed with ripe blueberries. Huge on the palate, firm tannins build the framework for grilled meat and barbecue smoke combined with creamy vanilla and berry compote. It’s a delicious, wild, and intriguing wine that points back to its roots with every sip.
Medium ruby in color, the aroma pops with dried strawberries, black tea, and licorice root. Big flavors of ripe cherry and melon mingle with grilled wild game and savory dried leaves. Fresh acidity and soft tannins balance the mouthfeel into a smooth finish
This blend shows off the incredible array of flavors that come from Famighetti Vineyards. Opening with deep notes of warm cherry and raspberry, baking spices like cinnamon, vanilla, and fresh nutmeg join together with savory elements of grilled meats and black olive.
