2015 Red Wine

This Adobe Road 2015 red wine blend marks our latest offering from the famed vineyard in Napa Valley’s Rutherford AVA. We sourced incredible cabernet sauvignon as always for our flagship bottling of vineyard designate in 2015. We were also able to source malbec from Andy Beckstoffer’s home property on Melrose Lane in Rutherford. Both of these wines are so good -- we had to blend our favorite barrels together. The result? Pure magic.

The aromas bring dark cherry, chocolate, and huge ripe red fruits along with a floral outline of violets. On the palate the chocolate and berries gain intensity while being framed by medium tannins, vanilla and detail of smoke and spice. Ripe black plumb and rich molasses add complexity to the ultra-smooth finish of this magical 82 percent cabernet sauvignon and 18 percent malbec blend.
