2021 Viognier, The Harris Estate

The Harris Estate Vineyards, formerly Famighetti Vineyard, is truly unique to the Sonoma region. The vineyard’s terraced terrain, elevation and undulating slopes create unique microclimates and soil variations that make it possible to grow the highest quality fruit. 

Winemaking note: Growing Viognier 1000 feet above the Dry Creek Valley floor creates clusters that are small, intense, and highly aromatic.  In the winery, we unlock the potential of those aromas and bolster them with judicious use of oak and lees contact.
 
Tasting note: Freshly cut tropical fruits sing in the glass.  Roasted pineapple, fresh lychee and ripe peach glide through a rich mouthfeel.  Framed by medium acidity and a toasty coconut finish, this wine is a stunner!
